Mangaluru, Jan 21: Veteran entrepreneur of Mumbai, recipient of Dakshina Kannada Rajyotsava award, president of the Federation of Hotel and Restaurant association Maharashtra, Dr Virar B Shanker Shetty has been appointed member of the advisory board of Srinivas university, Mangaluru. He was felicitated by the institute during his recent visit to the campus.

A Sharamrao Prathistana vice president and Srinivas university co chancellor Dr A Srinivas Rao welcomed Dr Virar Shanker Shetty. Chancellor of the institute, president of A Shama rao Prathistana Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao presided over the programme.

Principals and deans of various departments and colleges were present. Srinivas university vice chancellor Dr P S Aithal read the letter of felicitation. Srinivas university development registrar Dr Ajay Kumar gave an introduction of Srinivas university. Professor Srinath Rao compered the programme.
