Udupi, Jan 23: Pramod Muthalik, president of Sri Rama Sene said that he will contest upcoming legislative assembly elections from Karkala. This was officially declared at Karkala by Muthalik.
Muthalik said that he will contest due to the pressure of thousands of Sri Rama Sene workers and as the voice of their pain. Pramod said, “I will contest as independent candidate. I have made seven to eight rounds of the constituency. Hindus are in pain. Corruption is rampant. I will work with honesty for Hindutva and against the corruption.
“I am not against the ideology of BJP. My fight is against ideology of certain people within the BJP. I will never forget the insult meted out on me by the BJP earlier. If Hindutva and honesty are there, the BJP should support me in Karkala,” he said.
