Udupi, Jan 26: Canara Bank circle office Manipal celebrated 74th Republic day on January 26. Rama Naik, general manager hoisted the National flag. He distributed Canara Vidyajyothi scholarship to 30 brilliant girl students hailing from weaker sections of the society.
Addressing the gathering he said that bankers have a great role in building the economy of the country and assured that Canara Bank will dedicate in developing the economy. He advised the students to study well and take benefit of banks education loan scheme wherever required to take up higher studies.
The staff sang a patriotic songs. Mini, DGM CPCFT, Raviprasad Bhat, AGM and Ramesh Pai from Circle office, Rajesh Karu AGM CGTMSE and other staff from circle office and other HO wings at Manipal were present on the occasion.
