Shivamogga, Feb 8: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai performed Bhoomi Pooja for the installation of the 108 ft Shiva statue on Ragigudda in Shivamogga on Wednesday.

Former Chief Minister B S Yediyuappa, who is presently representing Shikaripura assembly constituency in the district, along with Shivamogga MLA and former minister K S Eshwarappa, ministers K C Narayana ‘Gowda, Araga Jnanendra, Byrathi Basavaraj and others were present.
