Mangaluru, Feb 12: The 7th day Novena preceding the Feast of Relic St Anthony was held at Milagres Church.
The theme for the seventh day was “Tounge Shows our personality”. The novena mass for the relic feast of St Anthony was held at Milagres Church at 6 pm.
Fr Ashwin Cardoza, director ICYM, Mangalore Diocese was the main celebrant for mass. In his homily, he spoke on the theme by highlighting different examples from the Bible, and he gave three key points on how we should make use of our tongue, *Tongue tells truth about ourselves, Tongue can save life and take life, good words build relationship, bad words destroy relationship."
Fr J B Crasta, and Fr Larry Pinto con-celebrated the mass. At the end of the mass Fr Larry conducted the Novena in honour of St Anthony during which special prayers were offered for the youths.
Infant Mary's Bajjodi Church Choir Group sang and joined in thanksgiving.
