Udupi: Man conned of Rs 99999 in online fraud, complaint filed

Udupi, Feb 13: A man was conned of Rs 99,999 in an online fraud.

Harish S, who is working in the health department, has an account in SBI bank.

Strangers who came to know that his account is credited with KGID amount, sent a link to his mobile on February 11 and got all the details of his account.

The fraudsters transferred Rs 1,499 in the first transaction and Rs 98,500 in the second to some unknown account.

A case in this connection is filed in CEN police station.
