Udupi: Huge fish weighing 200 kg lands in Malpe fishermen’s net

Udupi, Feb 14: A huge fish weighing 200 kg was caught by Malpe fishermen here. Local people call the fish as Madalu fish. It is also known as Kattikombu fish in some places.

The fish was caught by the purse seine boat fishermen on Sunday. It is said that the fish does not fetch as much price as the small fish. It was being sold at the rate of Rs 280 per kg.

The video of the fish has gone viral.
