Udupi: Thieves steal bicycles parked in police quarters

Udupi, Feb 17: Thieves stole two bicycles from the parking yard of police quarters adjacent to city police station.

According to complaint filed by Rafiq M (37), police inspector, Lokayukta police station, he resides at the police quarters with his family. Rafiq had parked his car, scooter and two bicycles in the shed adjacent to the police quarters. However, two bicycles worth Rs 16,100 were stolen from the parked area, breaking their locks, between 9 am on February 13 to 6 pm on February 14.

A case in this connection is registered in city police station.
