Udupi, Mar 16: Vishwa Santhosh Bharati Swamiji expressed disappointment that the Bunts community was not included in any package in the recent budget.

Speaking at a news conference in Barkur on Thursday, March 16, , he called for the community to be brought under the 2A reservation.

Regarding Mithun Rai's statement that Muslim kings had donated land for temples, the Swamiji criticized Rai's lack of historical expertise and stated that it was not appropriate to accept his statement. Alupa rulers donated land to Sri Krishna Math, he added.
