Mangaluru: Unidentified miscreant sets MLA Umanath Kotian's banner on fire

Mangaluru, Mar 17: Unidentified miscreants set fire a banner displayed in favour of Mulki-Moodbidri MLA Umanath Kotian at Shalepadavu Moodushedde late night on Thursday, March 16.

It is said that party workers of the BJP had displayed a banner on the development works undertaken by the MLA during his tenure.

Reportedly, at around 9 pm, an unidentified miscreant who came on a two-wheeler set the banner on fire by pouring diesel. While indulging in the act, he was wearing a helmet. Soon after the incident, he fled from the spot.

A local BJP leader who was traveling from Bondel to Moodushedde had noticed this incident.
