Udupi district BJP chief demands strict action against offenders in washroom video case

Daijiworld Media Network –Udupi (JD)

Udupi, Jul 26: “A few women students with Jihadi mentality in Udupi paramedical college have committed a grave offence. It is said that such incidents are taking place since a year. It is an effort to defame the pride of Udupi. We will not allow to repeat the 'Kerala Story' as the 'Karnataka Story'” said Udupi district president Kuilady Suresh Nayak.

“As of now, the administration authority of the education institution, in regard to the case has suspended three Muslim students. This has proved the accuracy of the case. We really condemn the shooting of the video and providing it to anti-social elements. It is an attempt to spoil the Hindu students’ future.

“We doubt that the state government is trying to close this case after putting pressure through the police department. The video shot by the three girls on the phone has been deleted. It is alleged that two Muslim boys are involved in this case. If the police department try to mislead the case or tries to close the case, the BJP will hold a massive protest against the injustice and will create awareness among the students.

“The incident should not be taken as a silly matter by the state government or the home department. The Congress government which came to power by claiming that ‘they are my brothers’ will face consequences if the case is misled,” said Kuilady in a press release.
