Bantwal: Jump rope, skipping tournaments held at zilla panchayat school

Bantwal, Aug 8: A jump rope and skipping tournament for boys and girls between the age of 14 to 17 years was inaugurated by Bantwal MLA Rajesh Nayak at Zilla Panchayat Higher Primary School, Narikombu.

Narikombu grama panchayat president Vinuta Purushotham presided over the programme. Bantwal block education officer Jnanesh was the chief guest. As many as 429 students from various schools in the district took part.

Narikombu school donors, panchayat president, teachers and others were present. District physical education surveillance officer Bhuvanesh delivered the keynote address. Narikombu school headmistress Prema welcomed.

Teacher Vimala Prescilla Pinto rendered the vote of thanks. Teacher Shobha compered the programme.
