Bantwal: Two arrested for disturbing locals under Ganja influence

Bantwal, Aug 14: The Bantwal town police have apprehended two individuals who were allegedly consuming ganja and causing disturbance to the local residents. The accused have been presented before the court.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Mohammed Shakib, a resident of Sajipa Munnur Grama, Nandavara Kote, and Mohammed Arif, a resident of B Mooda Grama, Shanti Angadi.

The duo had been creating disturbances among the local population after consuming ganja near a school in Nandavara. Acting on complaints from the public, a team led by Sub-Inspector Ramakrishna from the Bantwal police station visited the scene, arrested the two suspects, and initiated an investigation. Both suspects underwent medical examinations, with the doctor's report confirming the consumption of ganja.
