Mangaluru: Cow stolen, act captured on CCTV

Mangaluru, Aug 17: A cow which was sleeping after grazing in front of a shop was stolen by cow thieves in the night on August 14 at Badagapadavu Dhoomachadavu.

Three cows owned by Chandregowda of Mizar Baitari went for grazing on August 14 in the morning. One did not return in the evening. The family members started searching for the missing cow on August 15, on suspicion of theft, the CCTV camera of a nearby shop was checked and it was found that the cow is stolen and taken in a car on the wee hours of August 15.

It is noticed that a male calf of Chandregowda and two other cows of people living in the vicinity were taken away by the cow thieves. A case in this connection is registered in Bajpe police station.
