Hyderabad, Nov 2 (IANS): After a grandiose, dream, and romantic ceremony, Telugu actor Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi tied the knot in a pure fairytale fashion. Marking their marriage, Varun shared pictures of their wedding in the beautiful landscape of Italy.

Set against the picturesque backdrop of Tuscany, Italy, providing the perfect canvas for the special day. The ‘Tholi Prema’ star posted some pictures of their wedding on his Instagram and expressed his happiness. He simply wrote: "My Lav!"

The nuptials of the two love birds were given a lot of admiration from fans that fully supported them, and went on to express their heartfelt congratulations.

An intimate fairytale affair, the ceremony was a grand one though also somewhat of a private affair. Despite a huge coverage, the wedding was only attended by the couple’s close friends and family who blessed the couple after witnessing their special day.

Among the star-studded guest roster, superstars Ram Charan, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi, Nithiin added in an extra element of glamour to the festivities.

The ceremony took place at the enchanting Borgo San Felice in the heart of Tuscany, known for its scenic landscapes and rustic charm and thus is quite a popular place for high profile celebrity weddings.

After conducting a traditional Telugu style ceremony known as the Pellikoduku Pooja where two souls symbolically tie themselves both physically and spiritually, the couple changed their clothes and donned some grand and stylish attire.

Varun Tej donned a dashing outfit upon becoming the groom. His outfit which was designed by Manish Malhotra consisted of a crem-coloured sherwani laced with gold, and ivory, paired with a traditional dhoti.

Meanwhile, Lavanya Tripathi on the other hand was radiating pure elegance in a crimson red Kanchivaram saree which was also created by the same designer. Her attire was completed with a long, dreamy veil, with special Varun-Lav embroidery, symbolising their love story.

As Varun Tej is set to star in his upcoming film, 'Operation Valentine’, the couple have taken a new step into their lives ever since they first met on the set of ‘Mister’ back in 2016. The couple plans to conduct a grand reception in Hyderabad on November 5, where the entire theme will be based off of glamour and glitz.
