Beltangady: Man steals mobile, transfers money to friends – Complaint filed

Beltangady, Nov 24: A complaint is filed in city police station by a woman accusing a man, known to her of stealing her mobile and transferring money to his friends and not returning the amount.

According to details, complainant Abida Banu (35) was not available at home on November 9. Siddique, who is known to the complainant, stole her mobile worth Rs 8000. Later, Siddique transferred Rs 34000 from her account through Phone Pay to Jaffar and Rs 25000 to Mohammed and Rs 2000 to Siraj.

As the accused and the other people were friends of complainant Abida Banu’s husband she did not file complaint and waited for them to return the money. As they did not return the money, she filed a complaint in Beltangady police station on November 23.
