Kundapur, Sep 29: In an incident that occurred on Wednesday September 28 near Kolkebail Lord Siddeshwara Temple near Siddapur in the taluk, some thieves, who were trying to steal some cattle, escaped. But, the vehicle in which they were fleeing, met with an accident.

When the gang of thieves was loading the cows which were grazing at a hillock near the temple onto the truck, they saw some local people approaching the spot. The thieves, developing cold feet, made good their escape in their vehicle. However, the vehicle they were fleeing in fell by its side near Airubail. The thieves then abandoned the vehicle, ran away from the spot, and went towards Kundapur in a bus, eyewitnesses said.

A Tata Sumo vehicle was converted into a transport vehicle by the thieves, by removing its rear seats for accommodating the cattle. The policemen visited the spot, confiscated the vehicle, and launched a manhunt for the thieves. A case was also registered in Shankaranarayana police station in this connection.

My dear friends, to start with cow slaughter is not banned in India as it is wrong to deprive people of an affordable source of nutrition in a secular and democratic country. It is banned only in certain BJP ruled states. For your kind information it is still legal in Karnataka. You can get plenty of beef in Bangalore.

Only some anti social elements have stopped the sale of beef in our twin districts. When people are deprived of their right to eat they will do so somehow even by illegal means. This will keep happening as long as they are not allowed to trade in beef legally.

Don't spare them. Go more deep into it and find out who is behind this. Cow slaughter is illegal in India and moreover they were stealing stray animals that are not belonging to them. They deserve severe punishment.
But the Sangh Parivar should not take law into their hand instead bring it to the notice of the police. In turn, police should not act like an agent of the Sangh Parivar instead act against them as per law.
Always remember Newton’s Third Law: Forces always occur in pairs. If object “A” exerts a force F on object “B”,
then object “B” exerts an equal and opposite force –F on object “A”.
