Pakistan may Bring Down Petrol Price

Islamabad, Oct 25 (IANS): Pakistan is expected to bring down petrol price next month.

The petrol price is likely to go down by Rs.4 per litre next month and that of diesel by up to 10 paisa, reported Dawn.

The final decision on it will be taken after the arrival of two ships of petroleum products and will also depend on the government's decision to increase margins of dealers and marketing companies.

Though crude prices rose in the international market, oil companies managed to import petroleum products at comparatively lower prices than those in September due to excess refining in the Arabian Gulf market, the media report said.

Petrol price went up last month by Rs.4.15 per litre to Rs.88.95.
