Media Release

Mangaluru, Nov 8: Carmel School CBSE Kotekar, kindergarten organized a vibrant and engaging Fruits Day celebration on November 5, aimed at promoting healthy eating and nutrition. The entire classroom was transformed into a colorful, fruit-themed wonderland, with decorations that included bright banners, fruit cutouts, and playful designs that captured the spirit of the day.

To enhance the experience, mock fruit markets were set up, allowing the children to immerse themselves in a lively, interactive atmosphere that mimicked a bustling market scene. Each student brought different fruits from home, which they were excited to share and learn about, adding a personal touch to the day’s activities. This hands-on approach to learning about fruits and healthy eating made the event both educational and enjoyable for the young participants.

The event was graced by Sr Juliana Mary AC, the joint secretary, Sr Pramila D’ Souza AC, the principal and Sr Fidele AC, the KG coordinator who interacted warmly with the children. The celebration concluded with a delicious fruit salad prepared by the teachers and students, enjoyed by all. Fruits Day successfully encouraged students to embrace healthy eating habits.
