Moodbidri: Yenepoya Institute of Technology (YIT) organises ‘YEN QUEST – 2024’

Moodbidri, Nov 13: Yenepoya Institute of Technology (YIT) in association with first year Engineering Students Association (FYESA) organized "YEN QUEST - 2024" for 2nd year PU science students of various government and private PU colleges, especially of Udupi and Mangaluru districts on November 12 at Yenepoya Institute of Technology, Moodbidri.

The event was inaugurated by Dr Prabhakara B K, vice principal, YIT. Mohammad Shahid, campus administrative officer, heads of physics, chemistry and mathematics departments, teaching and non-teaching staff were present during inauguration.

Following the inaugural function, students actively participated in various science competitions such as science quiz, debate, science rangoli, photography, spot painting, Sudoku, Rubik’s Cube, collage, robo racing, model presentation (still, working, e-waste), treasure hunt etc. As many as 395 students along with their faculty, from more than 25 colleges participated in YENQUEST. YIT also distributed ‘YIT Privilege Card’ to students to facilitate their pursuit of engineering education in YIT. Additionally, 3D modeling demo and various project exhibitions were also organized for all the PU students.

The event was coordinated by Dr Santhosha Acharya, professor, department of physics, Dr Nagaraj P, professor, department of chemistry, Dr Ajith Rao, associate professor, and Sashma C H, first year coordinator & assistant professor, department of mathematics. All the faculty members of first year were involved actively in the smooth conduction of various competitions.
YEN-QUEST 2024 valedictory programme was marked by with prize distribution.
