New Delhi, Feb 8: Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently chaired a crucial meeting of the Advisory Board for WAVES (World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit) aimed at positioning India as a global entertainment hub. Bollywood stars and industry giants, including Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, and Chiranjeevi, took to social media to express their gratitude for being part of the prestigious board.
Anil Kapoor shared his excitement on X (formerly Twitter), calling it an honour to be involved in the initiative and expressing eagerness to contribute to making India a global entertainment hub.

Anupam Kher, another member of the board, thanked PM Modi for the opportunity, noting that the discussions were insightful and predicting that India would soon become the "DAVOS" of the entertainment and cultural fields.
Chiranjeevi also thanked the Prime Minister for the honor and expressed confidence that WAVES would propel India’s ‘soft power’ to new global heights.
The WAVES Summit, held from February 5 to 9, also saw PM Modi engaging in virtual discussions with prominent actors such as Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and AR Rahman. In addition to the film industry stalwarts, Modi interacted with business leaders like Mukesh Ambani, Satya Nadella, and Anand Mahindra, furthering his vision to elevate India’s cultural and entertainment influence worldwide.
