Los Angeles, Oct 7: Jennifer Lopez, the iconic singer, actress, and producer, is giving heartfelt credit to her family for keeping her grounded amid the chaos of stardom. In a recent interview with Extra, the 56-year-old multi-hyphenate shared how her 17-year-old twins, Max and Emme, along with her close-knit circle of loved ones, help her stay focused and resilient.
“My family is really what made me who I am,” JLo said. “They help me survive in the chaos of this business. They know who I am — my kids, my mom, my loved ones, my team — and that’s all that really matters.”
Lopez, who shares her twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony, reflected on how their unwavering support allows her to continue pursuing her passions despite the pressures of fame. “Their support is everything. It keeps my eye on what really matters: love, family, and staying true to myself.”

This week, Lopez was joined by her mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez, at the New York City premiere of her new film, Kiss of the Spider Woman. The film is already generating Oscar buzz, and Lopez's mom didn’t hold back in expressing her pride.
“She’s the best daughter a mother can have,” Guadalupe told Female First UK. “God gave me a wonderful daughter. She’s worked so hard for so many years. I hope she finally gets the recognition she deserves — she’s earned it.”
The film, which marks a significant shift in Lopez’s cinematic journey, is being closely watched by critics, with many predicting it could lead to her first Oscar nomination — a long-awaited moment in a career that’s spanned over three decades.
“My daughter has been in this industry for more than 30 years,” Guadalupe added. “She more than deserves to win an Oscar or at least be nominated.”
As Lopez continues to juggle music, film, and her role as a mother, she remains grounded in what matters most: family, love, and purpose — a message that resonates far beyond Hollywood.
