Mumbai, Oct 17: Actress Ankita Lokhande stole the spotlight at a glittering Diwali bash she co-hosted with husband Vicky Jain at a luxurious Mumbai hotel. The television diva dazzled in a lavender saree with intricate gold embroidery, drawing comparisons to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s iconic look from the song “Chaand Chhupa Baadal Mein” in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999).

Ankita paired the saree with a heavily embellished blouse, a diamond and pearl choker, and styled her hair in soft waves. Her elegant look was completed with minimal makeup, a dainty bindi, and a radiant smile. Fans on social media were quick to compare her to both Aishwarya and Disney's Princess Jasmine, praising her dreamy, royal appearance.

The evening was a star-studded affair, with several TV and film personalities in attendance. Gauahar Khan, who stars with Vicky in Fauji 2, arrived hand-in-hand with husband Zaid Darbar and shared a warm moment with the host. The night echoed with laughter, music, and dancing, as Vicky Jain and comedian Krushna Abhishek hit the dance floor with infectious energy.

Known for her grace and hospitality, Ankita was seen personally greeting guests, ensuring everyone felt welcomed. A special moment captured and shared by the couple showed them lighting diyas together, symbolising love and togetherness. Ankita captioned the picture: “Lighting up the night together.”

The couple, who tied the knot in December 2021, are famous for their lavish festive celebrations, especially their grand Holi parties, which draw in the crème de la crème of the television industry.

With this year’s Diwali bash, Ankita and Vicky once again proved they know how to blend glamour, warmth, and tradition in perfect harmony.
