Mumbai, Oct 24: The upcoming BGMI 4.1 update is creating a buzz among gamers with leaks hinting at exciting winter-themed content. The update is expected to roll out between November 11-16 for Android and iOS, following Krafton’s two-month update cycle after BGMI 4.0. The winter-themed Frosty Funland mode is slated to launch around November 12, though official confirmation is still awaited.

The Frosty Funland mode will transform Erangel into a snowy wonderland, featuring icy locations like Penguinville and Penguin Towns, complete with snow-covered landscapes, interactive exploration, themed loot, and weather effects that affect movement and combat.

New gameplay elements are expected to include Magic Ice Skates for gliding across frozen surfaces, Penguin Snowmobiles that fire slowing snowballs, and a Salted Fish Rocket Launcher capable of creating icy traps. Players will also be able to collect tokens through an NPC Crests System to redeem rewards and use Enhancement Elixirs for temporary ability boosts.

The update introduces the A16 Royale Pass, featuring a glacier theme with icy weapons and upgradable skins like the Glacier MG3 with evolving frosty effects and animations, the M762 Glacier Edition with unique kill effects, and potentially a Kar98k Glacier variant. The winter theme extends to ice-patterned helmets and a crystal-covered UAZ vehicle skin, enhancing the immersive frosty aesthetic.

Gamers can expect themed rewards, mythic outfits, and festive Royale Pass content that promise to elevate the winter battleground experience in BGMI 4.1.
