Bengaluru, Oct 24: Famed singer and music composer Raghu Dixit has embarked on a new chapter in his personal life, tying the knot with Grammy-nominated singer Varijashree Venugopal. The wedding, which took place on Friday, was celebrated traditionally in the presence of close family and friends, and photos from the ceremony are now going viral.

Raghu Dixit, 50, and Varijashree, 34, have been in a relationship for some time, and their union had been widely anticipated, with reports earlier this month hinting at a wedding by the end of October. Varijashree, known for her exceptional singing and flute skills, comes from a musical family, adding a shared passion for music to their bond.

Several celebrities from the film and music industry attended the wedding, including actress Yamuna Srinidhi and Ayyo Shraddha, among others. Some of the wedding photos were shared by Yamuna Srinidhi on her social media accounts.

This is Raghu Dixit’s second marriage. He was previously married in 2005 to dancer Mayuri Upadhya, with the couple parting ways in 2019. Following the divorce, Dixit had not publicly considered remarriage until his relationship with Varijashree deepened, culminating in today’s wedding ceremony.
