Ravi Teja’s ‘Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi’ gets U/A nod, set for Sankranthi release

Hyderabad, Jan 11: The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has granted a U/A certificate to director Kishore Tirumala’s upcoming action-comedy Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi, paving the way for its theatrical release this Sankranthi season.

The film’s production house, SLV Cinemas, announced the certification on social media, expressing confidence that the entertainer is poised to strike a chord with audiences. Along with the announcement, the makers unveiled a new poster bearing the stamp “Censored U/A” and confirmed that the film will release worldwide on January 13, 2026, with bookings to open soon.

Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner and presented by Zee Studios, the film features Ravi Teja in the lead role, alongside Ashika Ranganath and Dimple Hayathi as the female protagonists. The ensemble cast also includes Sunil, Satya, Vennala Kishore, Sudhakar and Muralidhar, adding to the film’s comic appeal.

Dimple Hayathi, who plays one of the key roles, recently revealed that her character is named Balamani. Speaking at the launch of the song Bella Bella, she described the role as one of her most satisfying performances in recent times and credited director Kishore Tirumala for shaping the character.

The film is backed by a strong technical crew, with music composed by Bheems Ciceroleo and cinematography handled by Prasad Murella. National Award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad has taken charge of the editing, while art direction is by A.S. Prakash.

Positioned as a complete family entertainer with action and humour at its core, Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi is gearing up for a festive release, aiming to be a major attraction at the box office this Sankranthi.
