Kundapur, Feb 24: Udupi district superintendent of police Hariram Shankar has issued a stern warning against the sharing or posting of a provocative video featuring an 11-year-old boy that has gone viral on social media.

The video, which reportedly shows the boy—a native of Bihar—shouting provocative slogans at a hair salon within the Kundapur rural police station limits, has sparked concern in the region.

The superintendent of police (SP) stated in a press release that a case has already been registered regarding the incident and a thorough investigation is underway. He cautioned the public that sharing or reposting this video is strictly prohibited while the legal process is active.

"Anyone found sharing or posting this video will face immediate legal action under the IT Act, Juvenile Justice (JJ) Act, and other relevant sections of the law," the SP warned.

The police department has urged citizens to maintain communal harmony and refrain from circulating sensitive content that could potentially disturb peace or violate the rights of a minor involved in the case.
