London, May 12: Goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky produced a dramatic late save as Tottenham Hotspur secured a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Leeds United in a tense Premier League encounter.
The result lifted Spurs two points clear of West Ham United in 18th place with two matches remaining this season, while Leeds climbed to 14th in the standings.
Forward Mathys Tel played a central role at both ends of the pitch. The French youngster opened the scoring in spectacular fashion five minutes into the second half, curling a brilliant strike into the top-right corner to give Tottenham the lead.

However, Tel’s evening quickly turned complicated when he conceded a penalty after attempting an acrobatic clearance that caught Ethan Ampadu with a high boot inside the penalty area. Following a VAR review, the referee pointed to the spot.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin calmly converted the penalty in the 74th minute, firing beyond Kinsky to level the match for Leeds.
The game remained finely balanced throughout, with both sides creating opportunities. Earlier in the first half, Kinsky had already made an important stop to deny Joe Rodon from close range.
Tottenham nearly capitalised on an error from Leeds goalkeeper Karl Darlow, who was penalised for holding the ball beyond the permitted eight seconds, though efforts from Richarlison and Pedro Porro were blocked from the resulting corner.
Late drama unfolded in stoppage time when Sean Longstaff nearly grabbed a winner for Leeds, only for Kinsky to produce an outstanding reflex save, tipping the ball onto the crossbar.
Spurs also appealed for a late penalty after James Maddison went down under a challenge from Lukas Nmecha, but the referee waved away the claims.
Despite late pressure from both teams, the match ended level, with Kinsky’s crucial intervention ensuring Tottenham left with a valuable point.
