Barcelona, May 18: FC Barcelona completed their La Liga campaign in emphatic fashion with a 3-1 win over Real Betis, highlighted by a standout performance from Raphinha, who scored twice to seal the victory.
Having already secured the league title the previous week with a win over Real Madrid, Barcelona continued their dominant form under coach Hansi Flick, finishing the season strongly in front of their home supporters.

Raphinha opened the scoring in the 28th minute with a clever free-kick that slipped past the Betis goalkeeper at the near post. He doubled the lead in the second half after capitalising on a defensive error by Héctor Bellerín, finishing calmly to put Barcelona firmly in control.
Real Betis briefly reduced the deficit when Isco converted a penalty after a foul inside the box, but Barcelona quickly restored their two-goal cushion through a stunning long-range strike from João Cancelo.
The victory marked a historic achievement for Barcelona, as they became the first team to win all 19 home matches in a 38-game La Liga season. They also became only the 11th side in league history to achieve a perfect home record, and the first since Real Madrid’s 1985–86 campaign.
Remarkably, the feat came despite the club playing across multiple home venues during the season, including the Estadi Johan Cruyff, the Olympic Stadium, and the newly renovated Camp Nou.
The match also carried an emotional moment for fans, as veteran striker Robert Lewandowski received a standing ovation after being substituted late in the game. The 37-year-old is expected to leave the club this summer after scoring 119 goals in 191 appearances since joining in 2022.
