While anybody writes comments, I find that some meaningless comments are written which directly relate to any government authority or any person. This is totally wrong. First look into the situation, it is an accident, which can happen even if it is a new vehicle. Nobody wants to fall and die unnecessarily.when it comes to maintenance, the owner of the vehicle knows how hard it is to maintain, in these days of high fuel price, bribes to police and RTO on roads, prices of spare parts, bank instalments. If you people write comments for everything, then learn to comment and fight against the real politicians who are fake, and looting our country. I think nobody has guts even to write a single line against any politician. Really, it is a pathetic issue in India.

Look at the RTO register number KA 34, 5423. This truck is from Bellary. Most probably used to transport iron ore. It was an old junk and gujary lorry.

Since the mining of iron ore and transport of it is stopped the old and used trucks are bought or brought here for use and not maintained, this has led to this accident and one person has lost his life. Where are we?

May Mr Rakesh Rest In Peace!

Its nobody else other than we. YEs, RTO is responsible, bad roads are responsible. But above all, how much we are matured enough to drive safe and follow the driving disciplines ? We are not. Yes, the above incident is purely because of break fail. Nobody can be blamed other than the owner for the bad condition of the truck. But other than that I see everyday as public is driving havoc. no rules, no discipline, wrong side driving, left side overtaking, over speed, no helmets... worst are the 2 wheelers... not sure what they think of. Racing with top end cars, feeling flying while on road, stunts... classic example is last week's accident at the new Nethravathi bridge. It's such a huge wide road... but still there was an accident and a death. so net to net I see unless we change ourselves nothing could be changed.

The accident rate in district is on the higher side. Whom to be blamed..?
    - Whether good road or bad road
    - Licensing authority for driving license
    - Drunken driving
    - Poor maintenance of vehicle.
