Delhi has partly cloudy Wednesday, may see some rain Thursday


New Delhi, June 25 (IANS): Delhi experienced a partly cloudy Wednesday with the maximum temperature recorded at 38.1 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average. The Met office has forecast a similar Thursday with light rain or thunderstorms likely in some parts of the city.

"Skies will be partly cloudy. Some parts of the city may receive light rain and thunder storm," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum and the minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 39 degrees and 27 degrees Celsius respectively.

The minimum temperature recorded Wednesday was 25.3 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.

The maximum temperature Tuesday was recorded at 39 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 26.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
