North Indian businessmen donate 'Water Cooler' to Wenlock Government Hospital

Mangaluru, Nov 6: North Indian businessmen on the occasion of 546th Guru Nanak Jayanthi, donated a 'Water Cooler' to Wenlock Government Hospital here on Thursday November 6, Mangaluru.

Dr H Rajeshwari Devi, district surgeon and superintendent, Government Wenlock District Hospital inaugurated the Water Cooler by having the first glass of water along with the social worker Balvinder Singh and with two other patients.

Speaking to the mediapersons, Dr Devi said that water is a life giving source. "Balvinder Singh and others have donated a water cooler which was required at Wenlock Hospital and I would suggest others also to show their helping hands towards our hospital." she added

Balvinder Singh addressing the gathering said, "What Guru Nanak was doing to the society, the same thing we are doing. We are trying to help the people who are really in need of help."

Press Club secretary Srinivas Indaje, businessmen Anil Banel, Kishore Patel, Kishore Chawla, Shivakumar Chawla, Murli Ramani, Ishwar Sharma, Kishan Purohit and others were also present on this occasion.
