IPL fan parks move to Indore, Kanpur


Mumbai, May 13 (IANS): Following the successful hosting of the Indian Premier League (IPL) fan parks at Udaipur and Belagavi, Karnataka, the weekend carnival now moves to Indore and Kanpur.

"The two cities will host the IPL fan parks on Saturday and Sunday. The gates for the same will open at 2 p.m. on both days," Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Anurag Thakur said on Wednesday.

Labh Ganga in Indore and Brijendra Swaroop Park, Palika Stadium, in Kanpur will be the two venues.

The first match on Saturday at 4 p.m. will be played between Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings while the second match will be between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders at 8 p.m.

On Sunday, the 4 p.m. match will be between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils while Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Mumbai Indians at 8 p.m.
