Mangalore: Bike Collides with Bus Killing Rider on Spot

Mangalore, Nov 6: One was critically injured and another died in a road accident that occurred on National Highway 17 at Panambur on Tuesday November 6, early morning.  The speeding city bus plying to Pilikula collided with the motor cycle after the latter moved on the wrong side of the road.

 The motor cyclists are identified as Madhu and Mani Venkatesh, residents of Koorikatta in Baikampady.  They were hailing from Tamil Nadu but were residing in Koorikatta. 

On Tuesday morning they were on their way to Baikampady when they crashed against a private bus going to Pilikula from Katipalla near Panambur circle.  The accident was the result of reckless riding by Madhu.  Along with that he was not wearing helmet too, which resulted in serious injuries in his head.

The Panambur police have registered a case against rider Madhu in this regard.
