Mangalore, Nov 7: Patrao Brothers' super hit songs Vol 1 CD was released by Fr Godfrey Saldanha, parish priest of Derebail during Patrao Nite held at Kalaangann, here on Sunday November 4.

Speaking on the occasion Fr Godfrey said, “This day is a great day for Derebail parish as it our parish feast. Moreover, our talented parishioners have also staged this wonderful show and have released their CD.”

Mandd Sobhann, under the leadership of Eric Ozario, is also doing relentless work in presenting and promoting Konkani language and literature, he added.

He congratulated Patrao brothers and wished them luck in their future.

Vishwa Konkani Kala Ratn, Karnatka Konkani Sahitya Academy president Eric Ozario was also present on the dais.

“It is a pleasure to host Patrao nite, one of the senior huskies of Konkani after a very long time,” said Ozario. He also expressed his wish that such shows should continue.

Dimple Pinto compered the function and proposed the vote of thanks.
