Mangalore: ‘Suddha’ to be Screened in D K and Udupi Schools

Mangalore, Nov 9: Tulu movie ‘Suddha’ will be screened in Dakshina Kannada (DK) and Udupi districts from November 12 to November 20 in various places, Ramchandra P N, co-producer and director of the movie informed media persons here on Friday, November 9 at the press conference.

While replying to the queries of media persons, the director said that ‘Suddha’ earned fame and respect at international film festivals.  Hence, he feels that the movie must be screened in both DK and Udupi districts. He wanted to screen the movie in theatres.  But, due to the technical difficulties and lukewarm response by owners of theatres, he has decided to take the movie to the people.  Moreover there will not be any entry fee for the shows.

The movie will be screened at Govind Das College auditorium, Suratkal, department of mass communications and journalism (Mangalore University), Konaje, Balakara Bala Niketan Nittur, S V S Junior College, Katpady, Rangamane, Sullia, Vishwa Kala Niketan Institute, Sullia Padavu, Bhandaskar’s College, Kundapur, Elankila and Savanur B. Ed College, Savanur on November 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 respectively, he elaborated.
