Mangalore, Nov 9: Vishwas Trust celebrated Diwali along with the members of the day care centre on Friday November 9.
The programme began at 10.15 am. Prof Urmila Shetty, guest of honour inaugurated the programme. Around 45 senior citizens were present for the celebration.
H M Narasimha who is the yoga master of the day-care centre spoke on the significance of Diwali.
MSW students entertained the gathering with various programmes . Refreshments and sweets were served to all.
Regimon Jacob, student of MSW compered the programme and Premila Saldanha proposed the vote of thanks.
Winston D’Souza, managing trustee of Vishwas along with his wife were present on the occasion. Olinda Pereira, director of Vishwas, Celine Aranha, Ratna Pinto were the guests present for the function.
