Mangalore, Nov 12: District Congress Committee vice-president Ivon D’Souza accused MP D V Sadananda Gowda of deceiving people by issuing false statements on Mangalore-Bangalore passenger train service.

D’Souza blamed that Gowda instead of bringing pressure on the railway department, is going to organise a rail rokho protest. “His agitations in the name of Mangalore-Bangalore passenger train is deceptive,” he alleged.

He stated that Sadananda Gowda had failed to convince Railway minister about the issue.

MPs of undivided Dakshina Kannada were unable to achieve progress in implementing development including opening a new passport office in the region and upgrading NITK Surathkal into IIT, he stated adding that the Congress would organise protest against their inaction.

    This is like pot calling the kettle black, while, in reality both are one and the same. The two parties are raising the issue in rotation!! By the way instead of sugeesting what Mr. Gowda should do why cant the Congress leaders do whatever is required because it is their Governmnet at the center now.
