Udupi, Nov 13: The Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal and Mangalore, will host the IADR India Research Initiative Workshop on Nov 14 and 15.

Dean of Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Dr Shobha Tandon in a press release said that a workshop would be conducted on Wednesday at MCODS, Manipal, followed by MCODS, Mangalore, on Thursday.

The workshops would aim at establishing relationships with high calibre dental faculty in India to mutually exchange knowledge, to explore possibilities and facilitate research collaborations, to offer support and training, if necessary, in research related activities, methodology, publishing and funding.

A team of eight delegates, who were all internationally renowned names in dentistry, in their specialities, would be led by Professor Jocelyne Feine, who was specialised in edentulism, quality of life, treatment satisfaction, implants, health care economics, psychophysics, pain assessment, temporomandibular joint disorders and clinical trials, from McGill University of Canada.
