Mangalore: DCIB Nabs Four on Charges of Gambling

Mangalore, Jan 5:
Four persons have been arrested by the District Crime and Investigation Bureau (DCIB) a special cell of the police, on charges of gambling in the city, in the evening of Friday January 4.
 
On receiving tip-off, the DCIB police inspector A D Nagaraj and staff immediately swung into action and raided Deep Recreation Club at Rao and Rao Circle.  

They quickly surrounded the area and took into custody one Obbaiah (39) and Abubakkar (48) from Bantwal, Mohommad (42) and Hameed (47) from the city. They were also successful in confiscating the gambling cards and a sum of Rs 1,130.
