Mangalore, Jan 5: “BIG 92.7 FM as part of its endeavor to impact life positively is hosting an on-air awareness campaign for Pulse Polio which is a disease that the country plans to eradicate. As part of this promotion, the station is associating with actors Diganth, Vijay Raghavendra and Anirudh to promote Pulse Polio program to be held on January 6 across Mangalore and neighbouring areas through its on-air promotions.

BIG 92.7 FM with the help of these actors will urge the people of the city to visit the nearest polio centres and administer the drops to their kids aged upto 5years. BIG FM RJ’s will also be promoting Pulse Polio immunization during their shows and request people to spread the word.

Rotary International in India is on a mission to completely eradicate Polio by 2010 and hence the need to educate each and every family is necessary”.
