Mangaluru, Oct 31: D Vedavyas Kamath, president of BJP Mangaluru City South block, has accused Congress party of Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) of playing filthy politics by not maintaining the public toilet properly just because the same is in front of the BJP district office.

He was responding to a news article that was published on Monday, October 30 about the unusable condition of the toilet that is in front of the BJP office at Kodialbail. He said. "Maintaining the cleanliness of all the toilets that are within the corporation limits is the responsibility of MCC."

"If it is not possible for MCC to maintain the toilet in question, let them give the same in writing. We will get the toilet repaired and make it fit for use, with the help of general public. MCC is proclaiming that they are going to build 17 new public toilets. However, the same have not been constructed yet. Let them maintain the ones that are existing right now in a proper manner as most of the toilets within the corporation limits are not clean", he added.

“If the toilet that is in front of the BJP office is reeking, what about the stench that is emanating from the market that is in front of district office of the Congress party? Is it giving a pleasant odour? One cannot expect even 'clean' politics from Congress, a party that in engrossed in filthy politics right from its inception."

Instead of accusing any party, you can clean all your surroundings or toilets on your own. Stop blaming or doing nataka/dramatic in public. For vote banks you people are ready to do anything.
