Mangaluru: Mangalore Central celebrates third anniversary

Mangaluru, Oct 31: City’s one stop shopping destination for fashion apparels and lifestyle merchandise, Mangalore Central department store celebrated its third year anniversary with pomp and splendour.

Fayaz, assistant centre manager, Forum Fiza Mall; Vijaykumar Kodialbail, a veteran producer, director, lyricist in Tulu drama and film industry; Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, ace actor, Tulu drama and cinema; and Saurabh Bhandary, main lead in upcoming movie ‘Ambar Caterers’ were chief guests.

The event commenced with a prayer dance performed by the staff of Mangalore Central. This was followed by the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Store general manager of Mangalore Central Yashpal B, welcomed the gathering. As many as 32 staff members were felicitated by the dignitaries with the long standing award, for completion of three years with Mangalore Central. To ensure the highest possible grooming standards for all the staff, an exclusive grooming kit for both ladies and men was launched at this event.

Fayaz in his speech expressed that Mangalore Central with the availability of the best brands and promotions has become a favorite fashion destination for customers and drives the maximum footfall into the mall.

Vijayakumar Kodialbail in his address stressed on the unity and solidarity he witnessed among the staff members and expressed his best wishes on the occasion of the anniversary celebration of Mangalore Central.

Bhojaraj Vamajoor wished all success for Mangalore Central and the audience were awed by his stunning performance and broke out into wild applause.

Saurabh Bhandary speaking about his upcoming debut movie urged the audience to support the movie by witnessing in large numbers.

Anil D;Souza, department manager at Mangalore Central rendered the vote of thanks. This was followed by cake cutting in order to mark the celebration.

The programme was compered by Babita Pinto, HR Manager at Mangalore Central, in the most vibrant way.

The formal function was followed by cultural performances by the staff members of Mangalore Central which included folk dance, Yakshagana, semi classical dance, western dance, a skit on tribute to Bhagat Singh, comedy skits and so on.
