Bengaluru: Karthik Raj murder case accused Kavyashree granted bail

Bengaluru, Feb 3: Kavyashree, who is accused in the murder of her own brother Karthik Raj, was granted conditional bail by the high court.

The one member bench of justice R B Budihal accepted the bail application of Kayvashree on the bond of Rs one lac, surety of one person and other conditions.

It may be recalled that Karthik Raj, a resident of Pajir village, who was a mechanical engineer by profession was mercilessly attacked by two bike-borne assailants when he was going for a walk in the morning near Ganesh Mahal on October 22, 2016. Though he was rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to the injuries later in the day.
