Kasargod, Feb 23: A man travelling in a car Mogral national highway, Kumble, was looted by robbers late night on February 21.
The robbers, who came in bike, assaulted the lone person in the car and decamped with Rs 4 lac cash and jewellery from him before fleeing. Uduma resident Zakir is the passenger who was robbed. The miscreants first rammed their bike against the car and then indulged in the crime.
A complaint has been registered at Kumble police station and investigations are in progress.
