Mangalore, Sep 13: Bifathima, mother of Zubair(16) from Manjeshwar in Kasargod Taluk who reportely went missing about three months back, has approached the superintendent of police of the district, to trace her son. She has said, that her complaints to the police stations have not yielded results.
"Zubair, who went for working in the Central Market in the city for working as labourer three months ago, has not returned since. I was being treated in a hospital then and after my discharge, I complained to Manjeshwar as well as Pandeshwar police stations but to no avail," she has said.
Bifathima has added, that she had received a call on her daughter's telephone number a month ago, claiming that her son had died and that his body had been preserved in the Wenlock hospital mortuary. She could not find his body there. In a complaint filed with Mangalore north police station, she has asked the police to find the whereabouts her son and also whether he is alive or not.
Zubair was working as an assistant in petroleum tankers and later started working as labourer. He was helping the family which is in dire straits, the worried mother explained.
