Mumbai, Oct 7:
A K Chavan, joint director and election officer, co-operative societies, announced the newly-elected directors of Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited, at a special meeting held at G R Shukla auditorium of Prajnabodini High School, located at Jayaprakash Nagar, Goregaon (East),  on Sunday October 5.
 
Assistant election officer Sandeep Deshmukh, Prof Shekar Poojary, Bharat Co-operative Bank chief executive officer J C Poojary, and Billava Association president Jaya C Suvarna were present on the dais.


 
Chavan set the proceedings in motion by lighting a lamp. Later, he announced the names of the new directors and congratulated them while handing over the certificates.
Yashodar D Poojary said the prayer. Assistant election officer Prof Shekar Poojary compered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was attended by shareholders of the bank, a large number of customers, and well-wishers. 
 
Amin Lingappa Venkappa Kotian, Jagannath Venkappa Kotian, Shekar Muttayya Kotian, Sridhar Kantappa Kotian, Vasudev Raju Kukyan, Mahabala Booba, N Nityanand Poojary, Chandrashekar Somappa Poojary, Mohan Giria Poojary, Shankar Deju Salian, Bhaskar Muddu, Pushpalata Narsappa Salian, Raja Pody Poojary, Rohini Jarappa Salian, Sunil Mahabala Bada, Sunil Ratna Umesh Suvarna, Jayachandra Suvarna, Jyoti Krishna Suvarna, Rohitaksha Mohanchandra and Yenagudde Nagesh, are the new directors. 
 
The new chairman, deputy chairman, and heads of various committees, will be announced shortly, said Prof Poojary
