Bweltangady, Nov 18: The annual Lakshadeepotsava of Dharmastala, which attracts thousands of  people from all over the state, will be held this year, from November 23 to 28.

A press release of Sri Kshetra Dharmastala informed, that the Sarva Dharma Sammelan, meet of eminent personalities belonging to various religions that is also an annual feature, will be held on November 26. The Sahitya Sammelan is slated to be organized on November 26. During the fest, a state level exhibition will be held at the Dharmastala high school ground.

The Sarvadharma Sammelan will be inaugurated by mystic and widely reverred  Sadguru Jaggi(Jagadish) Vasudev from Coimbatore. Jagadish Shettar, state assembly speaker, will preside over the function.  State wakf minister Mumtaz ali Khan, Sudhakar Sharma from Bangalore and Preethi Shubachandra from Mysore will deliver lectures.

The Sahitya Sammelan will be inaugurated by medical education minister Ramachandra Gowda and writer C P Krishna Kumar will preside. Jayanth Kaikini, Sarvamangala and Na Mogasale will be delivering lectures at the Sammelan. Urmila Sathyanarayanan from Chennai is scheduled to give Bharatnatyam performance on the occasion.
