Udupi: TAPMI Hosts 'Atharva' International Management Fest

Udupi, Jan 9: 'Atharva', an annual international management fest, was inaugurated at T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) campus in Badagubettu near here, at 9.30 am on Friday January 9. 

Corporation Bank chairman and managing director Jagmohan Garg, speaking at the inaugural ceremony, said that programmes like the Management Fest bolster the leadership skills of the management students.  Corporation Bank has already opened its first overseas branch at Dubai, United Arab Emirates while  plans are under way to open  one more branch at Hong Kong, he disclosed. 



Manipal University pro chancellor Dr H S Ballal, TAPMI director Vasudev Rao and convener Shameer were the chief guests present at the dais.

Around 1,680 students, both national and international, coming from 83 colleges are attending 'Atharva', the three-day annual International Management Fest. 

A magic show by magician Prof Shankar will be held at Madhav Pai Memorial College grounds here on Friday evening in connection with the programme. 

Quiz, by far the most popular programme of the annual event, will be held at the Kaup beach near here on Saturday January 10.
