Udupi: St Aloysius College Bags First Place in MGM Science Fest

Udupi, Jan 12:
Two Mangalore-based colleges,  St Aloysius  and Canara, bagged the first and second place in the 'Science Fest Amalgamation' held at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) College, here recently.
 
District Bar Association president Mattar Ratnakar Hegde, who was the chief guest, presented the prizes to the winners.
 
City-based Poornaprajna College retired Professor Dr B M Somayaji inaugurated the programme while MGM College principal Dr Jayaprakash Mavinakuli presided.
 
MGM College Student Welfare Officer Prof Yashawanti Salian, programme chief co-ordinator Prof  Pushpalata Santyar and convenor Prof Arun Kumar were present at the dais.
 
Suhail Basheer welcomed the gathering.  Mohammed Shameer introduced the guests.  Ananya Hebbar compered the programme.
